One common reason is because of unhealthy and toxic family dynamics.
The commercialism of the holiday and the reinforcement of "family togetherness" in music, on TV, and on social media can truly bring you down.

In order to experience some form of personalized healing, it is often healthy to practice the following:
Setting boundaries with unhealthy and toxic family
-Re-establishing a routine
-Doing only what recharges you
-Refusing to compromise your standards and values
-Getting your own therapy, if needed
-Becoming more educated to toxic family dynamics, behaviors, and mindsets - you can start with my channel ;)
Eating healthy and exercising (walking, going to the gym, yoga, etc)
-Returning to normal food and leaving the holiday food behind
