Will it start after 10 years?
In this video, we try to revive an old abandoned crane with a massive V8 diesel engine (12.6L) that has been standing completely unused for over 10 years.
The machine was left in extreme conditions – cold, bad weather, frozen and forgotten. Before attempting the start, we did a full preventive check:
🔧 replaced fuel filters
🔧 cleaned fuel strainers
🔧 connected fresh diesel fuel
🔧 checked hoses, lines, wiring and many other critical parts
After all these years, the big question remains:
👉 Will it start?
This is not a full restoration yet, but a raw and honest revival attempt, showing the real process of bringing an old Czechoslovak machine back to life.
From silence… to the sound of a huge diesel engine.
