For the Chicken:
1 whole chicken (cut into pieces) or 8–10 chicken drumsticks

½ Cup Curd
1 tbsp white vinegar
1 Cup Water
1 Tsp ginger garlic paste
Salt to taste
1 tsp Crushed Black Pepper
5 Chicken leg Pcs
1 Tbsp Oregano
1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
Salt
1 Tsp Coriander Powder
1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
½ Tsp Black Pepper Powder
½ Tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Tsp Ginger Powder (Saunth)
1 & ½ Cup All Purpose Flour
½ Cup Corn Flour
For Frying:
Vegetable oil or peanut oil (for deep frying)
Instructions:
1. Marinate the Chicken:
Mix buttermilk and salt in a bowl.
Add chicken pieces, ensuring they are fully coated.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight for best results).
2. Prepare the Coating:
In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients (flour and spices).
3. Coat the Chicken:
Remove chicken from the buttermilk and let excess drip off.
Dredge each piece in the seasoned flour mixture, pressing the flour onto the chicken for a crispy coating.
Let the coated chicken rest for 10–15 minutes for the coating to stick better.
4. Fry the Chicken:
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
Fry chicken in batches for about 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Drain on paper towels or a wire rack.
5. Serve and Enjoy!
Serve hot with coleslaw, fries, or biscuits for a complete KFC-style meal.
