📢 Historic Supreme Court Verdict: Menstrual Hygiene Now a Fundamental Right in India 🇮🇳
In a landmark judgment, the Supreme Court of India has declared access to menstrual hygiene and menstrual health as part of the Fundamental Right to Life and Dignity under Article 21 of the Constitution.
The bench of Justices J B Pardiwala and R Mahadevan ruled that lack of menstrual hygiene facilities and products not only affects health but also violates rights to equality, education, dignity, and privacy.
