This video Explains the making and working and Testing of a Proyechnic Igniter or a pyrogen Igniter used to burn Solid Rocket Motor/ Booster Rocket Motor.
The Igniter is Designed using ASME pressure Vessel Code and The Igniter Propellant is calculated using NASA's sp-8051 solid rocket motor igniters- Formula -26.
The Igniter was designed to Ignited A Rocket Having Following specifications:- "Dead mass- 2.7Kg, Designed altitude 3000metres, Total Impulse of 1160N-sec, The estimated Burn time is 2 seconds having Specific impulse of 115 seconds and Maximum thrust 813 N and Average Thrust of 507 Seconds"
