Rahimi, which found that 18 USC Sec. 922(g)(8), which prohibits possession of firearms by those merely accused of domestic abuse, does not withstand the historical analogue scrutiny as announced in the Bruen opinion. Consequently, Mr. Rahimi's conviction of being in unlawful possession of a firearm was overturned. (Note, his other convictions for multiple counts of assault with a firearm were not).
