Is Superman Actually Good?

Critics and fans alike have been pouring their thoughts out with Superman, and for the most part, it has been looking very good! So let's answer the question. Are they right about our new Superman ? Is it good or bad? Here's our thoughts! :)

Throughout the past decade or so, comic book movies and television shows have been at an all time high for releases. Of course, Marvel undoubtedly stands at the very top, regardless if the projects have been hit or miss as of late. But for one side of it all, specifically in terms of DC. It has been a very bumpy road to say the least.

A large amount of hit or miss movies, questionable decisions, and everything in between. After the release of The Flash, which was a divisive film in itself, whether it was good or not, the company announced a complete reboot and rebrand. As one of the MCU’s own, and one of their most consistent directors, James Gunn, the creator of all three of the Guardians of the Galaxy films, would take his place as the head of the brand new DCU.

We spent quite some time living off of this idea of a brand new DC universe for film and television, and then we lived off of the announcements that were made for future projects and castings made for characters, but now, we finally have an idea on where we will be heading in this new age for DC, as Superman has released in theaters.

Within this past week, loads of reviews have come out, and it has been looking very good for the movie and the future of DC. But I decided to go see the movie for myself, and form my own opinion, which I highly suggest everyone else does as well. Have a good time at the movies, and see what you think about it.

So just to start off, with a very short answer to this video's title, is Superman actually good? And in short, yes, yes it is. In fact, in my opinion, I think that it is great, you could even say that this is the movie that a lot of the world needs right now. Let me explain a bit further and in more detail, and tell you what I liked and didn’t like about this film. And beware, this video will contain spoilers.
