7. Iron Curtain [Myth - Live in Bellevue 1982/10/30] (Soundboard Source)

Описание: This round of uploads is a bit unusual. I'm uploading a show that Geoff Tate performed with Myth (the band he was in prior to joining Queensrÿche). This show has 2 sources: An audience recording with 8 songs, and a soundboard recording that starts halfway through the show, but has 1 extra song (giving a total of 9 available songs for this show).

The quality for the audience recording is pretty rough and distant, although Tate's high notes can clearly be heard soaring through the airwaves! His voice at this time was already very well-developed. The audience recording ran a semitone too slow, so I fixed that, and tried to EQ a lot of tape hiss away (as well as a "ring" on the last 3 tracks).
-- The quality for the soundboard recording is excellent though!

Some notes:
1) The song "Into the Battle" has always been mislabelled as "Overlord". However, Tate can be heard introducing the song with its correct name on the audience recording.
2) The song "Walking the Shadows" (yes, walking) has often been mislabelled as "Flames Keep Rising". Again, Tate can be heard introducing the song with its correct name on the audience recording.
3) The title for the 1st song is unknown. Does anyone have ANY clue that might help???

Overall, it's a great show, and a special one too. The audience recording may only be for the hardcore fans, but the soundboard recording can - and should - be enjoyed by EVERYONE!
