Outer Cover: It is manufactured from a DuPontfiber called "Cambrelle". This pouch is permeable and facilitates the evaporation and improves the stability of the temperature inside the wallet. Allows it to be carried safely in your pocket.
Inner Wallet is Polycotton, which has open pocket with double-walled panels containing crystals, which are non-toxic and non-flammable.
how to use
immerse it in cold water for 5-15 minutes. it activates the Crystals so that they will expand into a gel, and becomes soft and pliable. this remains cool for up to several days, minimum 2 days. Just towel dry the outside and it’s ready to go!
For continuous use reactivation is needed and re-immersed in water needed every 45 hours
how to know if it needs to resoak or reactivate
when the quantity of gel reduces and starts to return to its crystal form, i.e. crystals can be felt in the panels. and becomes less “puffy”.reactivation time is short (3-4 minutes) in water as the crystals are already in gel form.
over soaking causes the wallet to become too swollen to be used. Should this occur, the wallet must be allowed to dry naturally until it returns to usable size.
FRIO need to breathe. As they work by evaporation, they need to be in contact with the air. Carrying in hand luggage or a pocket is satisfactory. DO NOT CARRY OR STORE IN AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER AFTER THE FRIO IS ACTIVATED.
