This highway is known to locals to have lots of traffic and is the source of much frustration. It passes through many neighborhoods such as Woodside, Elmhurst, Maspeth, Greenpoint, Williamsburg, DUMBO, Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Carrol Gardens, Sunset Park, and Bay Ridge.
