Cyclone Gezani tore through Madagascar like a freight train, killing at least 20 and unleashing 115 mph sustained winds with ferocious 168 mph gusts that ripped roofs from homes, snapped power lines and plunged entire neighborhoods into darkness. The monster storm flooded streets in Toamasina before barreling roughly 60 miles north of the capital, leaving the battered island nation reeling in its wake.
