In this tutorial video, I show you how I make patterns on my knife sheaths with homemade cowbone stamps and tools.
These are cut from large pieces of femur, with an angle grinder. Then cleaned and simmered to get rid of all nasty stuff. After drying it for a couple of weeks, its cut in smaller tools and sanded.
With diamond files, I finetune the patterns.
In total I have around 12 different stamps for an unlimited amount of various patterns.
