👌বাংলাদেশে ১৯৭১ সালের মুক্তিযুদ্ধের পটভূমি সংক্ষেপে এভাবে বলা যায়—

পাকিস্তান রাষ্ট্র গঠনের পর থেকেই বাঙালিরা রাজনৈতিক, অর্থনৈতিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক বৈষম্যের শিকার হয়। জনসংখ্যায় পূর্ব পাকিস্তান (বর্তমান বাংলাদেশ) বেশি হলেও ক্ষমতা ও সম্পদ ছিল পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানের হাতে। বাংলা ভাষাকে রাষ্ট্রভাষা করার দাবিতে ১৯৫২ সালের ভাষা আন্দোলনে রক্ত দিতে হয়। এরপরও বৈষম্য কমেনি—শিল্প-কারখানা, শিক্ষা, সরকারি চাকরি, সামরিক বাহিনী—সবখানেই বাঙালিদের সুযোগ সীমিত ছিল।

১৯৭০ সালের সাধারণ নির্বাচনে শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের নেতৃত্বাধীন আওয়ামী লীগ সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠতা পেলেও পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানের শাসকগোষ্ঠী ক্ষমতা হস্তান্তরে অস্বীকৃতি জানায়। রাজনৈতিক অচলাবস্থা, দমননীতি ও অবশেষে ২৫ মার্চ ১৯৭১ সালের গণহত্যা বাঙালিদের স্বাধীনতার সংগ্রামে ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়তে বাধ্য করে।

সংক্ষেপে—দীর্ঘদিনের শোষণ-বৈষম্য, সাংস্কৃতিক দমন, রাজনৈতিক বঞ্চনা ও গণহত্যার প্রতিক্রিয়া মিলেই ১৯৭১-এর মুক্তিযুদ্ধের জন্ম হয়।
🔥 ৬. ডিসেম্বরের চূড়ান্ত যুদ্ধ ও বিজয়

ডিসেম্বর মাসে ভারত ও পাকিস্তানের মধ্যে সরাসরি যুদ্ধ শুরু হয় (৩ ডিসেম্বর)।

১৬ ডিসেম্বর, ঢাকায় রেসকোর্স ময়দানে পাকিস্তানি বাহিনী আত্মসমর্পণ করে।

৯৩ হাজার পাকিস্তানি সৈন্য আত্মসমর্পণ করে – এটি ছিল বিশ্বের ইতিহাসে অন্যতম বৃহত্তম আত্মসমর্পণ।
