Описание: A gallery of photos of Wilts & Dorset's Optare MetroRiders. This is the first two batches delivered to the company during 1992 and 1993 of the Series 2 version - the basic Optare upgrading of the original MCW design. Fleetnumbers 2501 to 2533, J501RPR to J515RPR and K516UJT to K533UJT. Of note were the last six were specially adapted where the rear was constructed higher with a pair of small rollers underneath to allow use over the Sandbanks Ferry on service 150 between Swanage and Bournemouth although sadly I never managed any photos of them in use on this.
