Using key texts from John’s gospel, describe Jesus’ unique relationship to the Father (1:1, 18, 10:30, 10:38, 12:44-45).

After all that Jesus taught about His unique relationship to the Father, how might you describe Philip’s request in 14:8, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us." (irrelevant question OR inappropriate question OR (even) insulting question). Pick one and then support your answer from the context of John 12-14.

Representative (see 8:19, 42, and how it relates even to us as Jesus’ representatives 13:20, 15:20-21)

For Savior (see 6:37-40, 51, 58; 10:27-30, and 20:31). What aspect of eternal life are you thankful at this time in your life?

For Judge (see 5:41-45, 8:15-16). Why is it important to tell non-believers that if they will not have Jesus as Savior, then they must have him as Judge?
