Описание: A 1959 trip on the Connecticut River from the Canadian border to Long Island Sound increased public awareness of its sad state at the time. Dr. Joseph Davidson and his wife donned gas masks at various locations, met Governors and local officials along the way, and compared a bottle of water from the source to water along the way. The Connecticut River Watershed Council (now the Connecticut River Conservancy) made this 25 minute film of the journey to spread the story.
