Located at the Brandywine River Museum of Art, and a Holiday Tradition since 1972, The Brandywine Railroad features O scale trains running on 2,000 feet of track and over 1,000 pieces, including locomotives, passenger and freight trains, and trolleys that pass through a small village, a farm, factories, and even a carnival and a drive in movie theater. Steam Power PA visited the Brandywine Railroad twice this year, on November 26, and December 24. The holiday display was the reopening of the museum, after hurricane Ida flooded the museum and the surrounding Chadds Ford PA. The cost of the damages was over $6 million USD.
