I'm a licensed nail tech and I want to reiterate that this is something I do on myself ONLY . If you have no toenails , this should not and probably will not be offered in a salon setting . Reason being , is that there is no nail products on the market that are SAFE to apply over SKIN . NONE . There are allergic reaction risks ...and some could be severe in some individuals . If a salon was to apply any nail products over your skin and you should have a allergic reaction , THEY WILL BE HELD LIABLE . That is why this service / method is not offered on toes missing toenails, at least in the USA .
This is the reason I demonstrate this method on video . I show this method for people who would like to attempt to do this on themselves . Having unsightly missing toenails is a real self-conscious problem out there . This is a way for others with this problem to temporarily fix it .
