Detransition: A Video Essay

Описание: Hello and welcome to my first video filmed on my new Grown-Up Camera ™️. I'm still learning the various filming, editing, where-to-look-at-when-I'm-speaking-so-I-don't-seem-crazy skills. So please be gentle 🥺

In this video, I talk about what the trans community gets wrong about detransition and then why I think the focus should be on making sure your transition is well-informed, forward-looking, and healthy. One disclaimer I should give us that I am a trans man and transitioned as an adult, so this video does not focus on pediatric transition or on the transfemme perspective (neither of which I feel qualified to provide).

This is my first ~controversial~ video so I imagine we might have some discourse in the comments. Great! I will delete any comments which are mean-spirited (either towards myself, the trans community, or detransitioners).

Going forward, I plan on making video essays occasionally, but also trans product reviews, transition updates, LGBT book+TV+movie reviews, and casual trans life tips. Every time I check YouTube and I see I have a new subscriber I go "yay!" so if you wanna make me go "yay!" you should subscribe :)
