South Korean society places great value on tight-knit family structures, where a family typically consists of a father, mother, and children. Consequently, unmarried women and their children are still socially unacceptable.
"Baby boxes" are established with good intentions, aiming to provide a safe environment for unwanted children to grow up.
However, this only solves the surface issue and leads to another problem: the lives of these children after they leave the baby box.
