Mario Kart World is the first free-roam entry in the series, and it's also one of the launch titles for the Nintendo Switch 2. It also expands the driver numbers to a whopping 24 at any time and introduces some very cool new driving mechanics. Rail riding, charge jumps and food power-ups are all introduced in Mario Kart World and it looks like it's going to be one of the biggest games on the console. It's the first time a game from the series has launched a console, so it's going to be interesting to see what this means for the Nintendo Switch 2.
