Bihar Final Voter List: 21.53 Lakh Added, 47 Lakh Deleted Amidst Political Row | India Today

Описание: The Election Commission of India has released the final voter list for Bihar. This comes after the completion of the Special Intensive Revision process, with the entire voter data now available on the ECI's website as mandated by the Supreme Court. The final list indicates a total of 7.42 crore voters in the state. In this revision, 21.53 lakh new voters have been added to the electoral rolls. Concurrently, 47 lakh names have been deleted, a reduction from the 65 lakh deletions proposed in the initial draft list. The release of these figures occurs amidst a political showdown. According to the announcement, “There will be no more changes, no more admission of any applications on including your name on the voter list.” Final arguments on the revision are scheduled for the 6th of October. #bihar #voterlist #electioncommission #itwebvideos #eci #indiatoday #biharnews #elections #voter #indianpolitics #supremecourt #voterregistration #democracy #electoralroll #news #breakingnews
