As an American expat living in South Korea for 14 years, I have heard so many weird comments about how Korea is this and Korea is that. When I travel outside of Korea, most travelers or domestics citizens in places I visit know only of Korea through K-pop and K-dramas. While these are aspects of Korean society, Korea is more than K-pop, but more importantly, South Korea is a country that is home to Koreans who have the same determination as other people in other countries. Let's talk about this issue as I walk through Seoul and share with you my life experiences in Seoul South Korea!
