This is the best Mini we've ever offered in my opinion, in a recently concours he scored 198/200! Putty is basically perfect. Certainly better than factory!

I've actually fallen in LOVE with him and because of that I'm offering a cash alternative on opening for the very first time. It's £10,000.

Having been bought in 2016 in totally original and complete condition the idea was to embark on a concours build. The owner decided that he wanted to keep it as close to factory as possible but also keep the charm and patina of the original interior.

The total body restoration was entrusted to CRM solutions, they embarked on a total strip and rebuild, every stage of this is documented in the best file Ive ever seen with a Mini. £14,000 of the best British pounds later Putty was better than new. The attention to detail on this build is spectacular from the original shade of Antelope Beige paint to the re-chroming of all the original bumpers and bright work. Original 10 inch wheels were refurbed & powder coated in silver, new old stock wheel embellishers and original hubcaps were also refurbed, these where then wrapped in Dunlop 145R10 SP sport Aquajet tyres from Vintage Tyres. Replacement number plate stickers were also commissioned.

Internally the work was entrusted to Auto Retrim and the red interior seats are the original, yep, one small repair and a deep clean, they are like new! All original door cards got the same treatment. The carpet scenario shows again how much detail and cost has been lavished on Putty, they do not do a replacement carpet the same so Auto Retrim set about sourcing a matching carpet and the supplied one from tech autos but the heel pads weren't correct so whilst this was going on the owner decided the original heel pad was mint so he removed it and it was then stitched into the exact match carpet that was eventually sourced. The top dash rail was removed and recovered and the rest is original. It even retains its old car smell. utter perfection!

Under the bonnet the same level of detail was sprinkled, the original 998cc engine was totally removed and rebuilt to factory spec then refitted and rolling road set up, he made an impressive 35.9hp and originally was 38, so a loss of 2.1hp in 53 years. The original radiator core was damaged but again this was sent to a specialist and rebuilt. Putty even retains his original crimped exhaust! The only upgrade is unleaded head and disc brakes at the front.

In summary Putty is EXCEPTIONAL, Mini magazine featured, multiple concours show winner beauty! DO NOT miss him. A true work of art and a piece of motoring history!
