Game Boy - Nintendo Switch Online: Donkey Kong '94

Описание: To tie in with Mario Day, or Mar10 Day, we get two games for Game Boy - Nintendo Switch Online. The two games are Mario's Picross and Donkey Kong, which is otherwise known as Donkey Kong '94 to tell apart from the arcade Donkey Kong game. The game that I play for this video is Donkey Kong '94, which released in 1994 for the Game Boy.
This is one of the first games to make use of the Super Game Boy, a special game cartridge that allowed you to play Game Boy games for the SNES. To go over Donkey Kong '94, the beginning of the game plays out the same as the arcade game, Pauline is kidnapped by Donkey Kong, and Mario climbs up to the top of a construction site to stop Donkey Kong, and after getting through the arcade levels, Donkey Kong is not done yet as he goes into the Big City.
For the rest of the game, you have to solve puzzles to get the key in order to open it, and some of the levels allows you to make platforms or ladders which are only there for a limited time. After each level is a boss fight with Donkey Kong, where Mario has to throw barrels to hit him.
This game is the predecessor to the Mario Vs. Donkey Kong series, and during the development of Mario Vs. Donkey Kong, it was planned to be a remake of this game for the Game Boy Advance, but it ended up being a different game. I don't know if ever we will see Mario Vs. Donkey Kong come to Game Boy Advance - Nintendo Switch Online, as that game got a remake last year for the Switch. I have seen that in recent updates for Game Boy - Nintendo Switch Online, we have received many Donkey Kong games, but at least we have Donkey Kong '94 for Nintendo Switch Online now.
