Service-wise it was typical belt replacement and limit switches clean.
Conversion from Japanese 100V AC to Australian 240V AC was also technically trivial, but "logistically" challenging and time consuming.
This is a very well built unit based on Philips DAC-7 (TDA-1547) DAC ICs with the most jewellery I have seen to date. Laser is Sony KSS-151A and VRDS is like the one in Esoteric P-700 transport.
Laser output was precisely set at 0.1mW and current over its life increased by only 1.5mA, which means it is only 15% used up.
If only balanced output was done properly and not just inverted on op-amps.
And the annoying Cold of pin 2 of XLRs is just strange these days.
