There's nothing quite like a slow weekend morning, so we decided to make the most of a day off by going full-on British!
Join us in the kitchen as we whip up buttery sultana scones, rich clotted cream, and sweet strawberry jam—all from scratch. No shortcuts, just proper homemade comfort food.
While the scones bake and the jam simmers, we’ve got Fleabag playing in the background (because what’s more British than that?) and the kettle's always on. It’s cozy, it’s a bit chaotic, and it’s exactly how weekends should be.
Clotted cream
-thick double cream – 900 mL
-1 vanilla pod
Strawberry jam
-stawberries - 500 grams
-granulated sugar - 180 grams
-juice of 1 lemon
Sultana scones
-flour - 500 grams
-sugar - 80 grams
-baking powder - 15 grams
-salt - 5 grams
-butter - 150 grams (cold)
-whole milk - 200 mL
-2 whole eggs
-sultanas – 200 grams
-Earl Grey tea – 2 bags
