Named after its ideologue and promoter, José Banús, this port, declared a Center of National Tourist Interest and which has been awarded the gold medal for Tourist Merit, has been attracting millionaires, celebrities, tourists and onlookers from all over the world for almost 50 years.

Puerto Banús, created in 1970, is part of the so-called 'Golden Triangle', which includes the Malaga towns of Marbella, Estepona and Benahavís and also, in real estate terms, of Marbella's Golden Mile. Here everything shines.

For many, it is nothing more than a display of abundance and ostentation, where snobbery plays its part among bottles of expensive champagne, pleasure boats tens of meters long and lively nightclubs.

But for us it is one of those places to see at least once in a lifetime. There has to be a reason why more than four million people do it every year.

Puerto Banús is one of the most privileged ports in the Mediterranean and the fifth most expensive in Europe, which has something of a small Andalusian white village and much of a busy place where nightlife, excess and glamor intermingle with different luck.
