How To Burn Half The Wood As A Fireplace Everything was going so good until we hit what we thought was going to be the last day of the masonry heater build, boy was we wrong. The rock manufacture sent us the wrong stone and at one point we really thought about tearing it all down and starting over at a later date. Pat worked so hard for extra days to be able to get the masonry heater completely installed before he headed back home. Building our own house in the woods off the grid has been a struggle but it has been worth it.
