Known worldwide for the oil sands, Fort McMurray sits on the confluence of four major rivers and is surrounded by boreal forest, winding river trails, and quiet winter beauty. It's a beautiful and unseasonably warm January day, perfect for discovering my home. Im heading out on foot to walk the river trails, enjoy a simple fire outdoors, and capture cinematic drone footage showcasing the town from a new perspective. This episode is all about slowing down, finding adventure close to home, and appreciating the beauty of Fort McMurray in all its winter glory-- proof that even when plans change, there's still plenty to explore.
