Testing for Validity: Spearman's, Chi Square, Goodness of Fit, and t-Tests

Описание: This review video covers Chapter 8 of the Oxford University Press IB Applications and Interpretation SL textbook. The four validity tests are explained and example calculations of each test are provided.
There are a few inadvertent errors in this video:

20:07 t-Test example
I made a typo on the whiteboard. The last value for 1st Academy should be 35, not 45
Calculations are correct, just that one data point is wrong.

22:40 Spearman's rank coefficient
Correct answer is: r sub s = .707.
I used someone else's notes and didn't check the calculation. My bad for not checking the work.

27:05 Uniform distribution
Correct answers are: chi square = .67, p = .98
Data is correct on the whiteboard. The values on the video are from a different problem, I misread the notes - again, my bad.
