The FBI opens a new China-related counterintelligence case every 12 hours. Not every 12 days. Every 12 hours. Across all 50 states, over 2,000 active investigations are tracking Chinese government-linked espionage operations — and those are just the ones we know about.
In this video, we pull back the curtain on the documented network of Chinese spies, influence agents, and covert operations that have been uncovered on American soil. This isn't speculation. Every case we cover comes from FBI arrests, Department of Justice prosecutions, and sworn congressional testimony.
We start with the illegal Chinese "police stations" discovered operating out of storefronts in New York City — posing as community service centers while monitoring and intimidating Chinese dissidents living in America. Then we trace the reach of Operation Fox Hunt, Beijing's campaign to send agents onto US soil to stalk, threaten, and coerce Chinese-Americans into silence or compliance. We examine the Thousand Talents Program, which recruited top scientists at American universities and labs while funneling undisclosed payments from the Chinese government — including the Harvard professor who hid $1.5 million. We look at the technology theft pipeline that the FBI estimates costs America between $200 and $600 billion every year in stolen intellectual property. And we investigate the political influence operations where Chinese agents have been charged with attempting to interfere in US elections and recruit Silicon Valley executives.
Former counterintelligence officials have said publicly that the known cases represent only a fraction of the actual campaign. The scale has no historical precedent from any nation. Every sector is a target — military, technology, academia, politics, business.
This is the story the headlines only scratch the surface of. We went to the sources.
