STORYLINE:
The French architect Paul Andreu, who designed the terminal at Charles de Gaulle airport where a walkway collapsed, is returning to France.
The architect, who is famous for designing cavernous airport terminals, did not speculate on the cause of the accident.
Andreu was in China overseeing the construction of Beijing's new landmark National Theatre - another typically futuristic building featuring a titanium and glass dome set in the middle of an artificial lake.
At least four people were killed and three others injured on Sunday when the roof of a walkway that had opened just 11 months ago collapsed at Paris' main Charles de Gaulle airport.
Several tonnes of concrete, metal bars and glass panelling came crashing down on an arrival and departure passageway at the airport's Terminal 2E.
A section of the glass-encased walkway caved in, falling onto service vehicles parked below.
Two Chinese trading company employees were among the dead in the collapse of a terminal roof at Paris' Charles de Gaulle Airport, the Chinese government said on Monday.
The man and woman, part of an eight-member group from Beijing Mashi Trade Corporation, were travelling from Shanghai to Mexico via Paris when they were hit by the falling roof on Sunday, the official Xinhua News Agency said.
The man was identified as Wu Xin, 32, a sales manager, and the woman as Liu Jianfang, 30, who worked in the company's office in the southern Chinese port city of Xiamen, Xinhua said, citing the Chinese Embassy in Paris.
It said other members of the group were safe.
