Kajri Lake is located in the upper camping area of Shahi Bagh Atroor, which is a tourist spot in Swat Valley, Pakistan. It is approximately 40 km from Kalam and can be reached by jeep in about two hours from Kalam to Shahi Bagh. From Shahi Bagh, there is a six-hour trek to Kajri Lake. The lake is situated at an altitude of 13,000 feet above sea level and is about 25 km from Utror and 10 km from Shahi Bagh.
The campsite at Kajri Lake is described as being blessed with immense beauty, including clear streams, colorful wildflowers, tall trees, towering mountains, and rushing waterfalls, among other natural features. After the road track, there are trekking trails that lead to different directions, including lakes in the valley, such as Kunail Banda Kumrat.
The autumn season in the valley is known for its stunning colors, starting around the mid-week of October. The Kajri Lakes trek is described as the most famous trek in the valley, taking approximately 7 hours from Shahi Bagh, with a left diversion from Jannat Banda to a sub-valley. Mushroom Lake can also be visited from Janat Banda.
