How to drop from 106C to 74C with 1mm COPPER shim - RTX 3080 Founders Edition - Better than 1.5mm?

In this video 1mm Copper Shims/Plates in combination with 0.5mm Thermal Pads are used.
Temperature dropped from 106C (fans at 100%) to 74C (fans at 74%)
(Temperatures last updated on 11/04/22) (fan speed & temperatures may vary from what I say in this video due to improved airflow)

On a previous RTX 3080 Founders Edition (not in this video) 1.5mm Copper Shims/Plates were used instead. (WITHOUT Thermal Pads)
Temperature dropped from 104C (fans at 100%) to 68C (fans at 73%)
(Temperatures last updated on 11/04/22) (fan speed & temperatures may vary from what I say in this video due to improved airflow)
