India Maps 28 Ladakh Sites, Rejects China's Objections Over LAC Features

Описание: China has raised strong objections to India's decision to standardise names for 28 strategic locations and geographical features in Ladakh, reiterating territorial claims along the disputed boundary. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning termed the cartographic exercise illegal and invalid, opposing Ladakh's status as a Union Territory. India issued a firm counter-response through Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, who affirmed that Ladakh remains an integral and inalienable part of India. The Ministry of Home Affairs designated the 28 names, which include friction points such as Gogra and Hot Spring, to update Survey of India maps and improve public awareness following local consultations.
