The Toronto Blue Jays had started to be known as playoff chokers after being eliminated in the 1985, 1987, 1989, and 1991 American League Championship Series. Roberto Alomar changed all of that with one swing in Game 4 of the 1992 ALCS when he tied the game at six off the invincible Dennis Eckersley out in Oakland! It must have stunned the A's fans everywhere, but the Jays went on to beat them and win back-to-back World Series! "The Eck" won the 1992 American League MVP & Cy Young Award! It's a shame that Robbie was pretty much a shell of this guy when he came to play for the New York Mets!
