Описание: In 1982 George Baker founded a renewed George Baker Selection with former members George Thé and Jan Hop, supplemented by Elly Bloothoofd (vocals, bass) and Pieter Goeman (piano, organ). Nelleke Brzoskowski became the new singer of the group. In this line-up the band had a number of hits of which "Santa Lucia by night" (1985) was the biggest. It reached 7th place in the Top 40 and 4th place in the National Hitparade. Other hits included "When We're Dancing" (1982), "The Wind" (1983), "Manolito" (1985), "Viva America" (1987) and "Bella Maria" (1987). After the group broke up, George Baker continued solo. In November 2009 he released a new album, Lonely boy, in which he looks back on his childhood, loves and career as a musician.
