The Kakishima Kaido Cycling Road runs along Route 487 from Kirikushi Port on the island of Etajima to Kure City.
Although the full path is about 70km (43mi) long, there are routes as short as 30km (18mi), such as the one pictured in the video, making it a great cycling spot for beginners and veterans alike.
Etajima is easily accessible via ferry from Hiroshima Port (Ujina), which in turn is about 30 minutes by tram from central Hiroshima.
Rental cycles are also available at select ports, although a reservation needs to be placed 2 days prior to your trip.
