KTCL Retirees Protest in Panaji, Demand 7th Pay Commission Benefits

Описание: Retired staff of the Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL) from across Goa on Monday gathered outside the KTC head office in Panaji, demanding the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission and the release of long-pending arrears.
The retirees said they have been waiting for years for their rightful dues, despite repeated representations to the government and the KTC management. They expressed disappointment over the continued delay, stating that many retired employees are facing financial hardship in the absence of revised pension benefits and arrears.
Addressing the gathering, representatives of the retirees urged the state government and the KTC management to take immediate steps to resolve the issue. They stressed that the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission for retired staff is long overdue and should not be delayed further.
The protest remained peaceful, with the retirees appealing to the authorities to show sensitivity towards the concerns of senior citizens who have served the transport corporation for decades.
