Can Steam Deck Handle Metal Gear Solid Delta? System Requirements Revealed!

Описание: Metal Gear Solid is one of my all-time favorite game series, and the excitement surrounding the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake (now Metal Gear Solid Delta) has me hyped! With incredible visuals, stunning facial animations, and promises of a more immersive experience, this remake looks like it will be a must-play for fans of the series.

However, recent system requirements have me questioning whether we'll be able to experience the game on the Steam Deck. From the Ryzen 5 3600 CPU to the powerful NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super GPU, the specs are much higher than I expected, making it unlikely that the Steam Deck can handle the game’s demands. While RAM might be okay, the CPU and GPU are well beyond what the device can manage, especially given how visually demanding the game is, running on Unreal Engine 5.

I'll also touch on how cloud streaming could be an option to experience the game, but it doesn’t seem like the Steam Deck will handle local downloads. There’s still hope for newer handheld consoles with stronger chips, but even they might struggle with a stable frame rate.
