The Mighty Cave Temples of Badami:
Badami is a small town, but it is very famous because of its amazing rock-cut cave temples. It is surrounded by beautiful red sandstone hills and a calm lake called Agastya Lake. The view is very peaceful and perfect for photography too.

Archaeological Museum of Badami, which is located very close to Agastya Lake. This museum shows us the rich history and culture of the Chalukya dynasty, who ruled this region long ago. Inside, you can see ancient statues, stone carvings, tools, and inscriptions.
Many of the statues are of Hindu gods like Shiva, Vishnu, and Durga, and some are from Jain and Buddhist traditions. Every statue has a small board near it that explains what it is and which century it is from – this helps you understand more easily.

The Northern Hills is so beautifully decorated by Temples and views, it is surrounded by the Badami Fort. The Eastern temples that sit quietly on the banks of Agastya Lake are so magnificent as it surrounded by #rockcutarchitecture and #nature

These temples may not be as grand as the famous cave temples, but they have their own peaceful beauty and importance. They are located on the eastern side of the lake, facing the water, with the backdrop of hills behind them.
