While in Western Australia, a large number of volunteers helped 74 beached False Killer Whales return to sea. Sadly, one of those whales dies on the ground.

Meanwhile over on BBC2, Bill Oddie and Kate Humble wraps up the forth Springwatch of the year, and hands over to the Dead Ringers team for another half-hour of mimicry. But to take us up to there, announcer Matthew Jackson gives us a glimpse of what's to come before Newsnight with Paxo and as you can see, apart from Dead Ringers, there's the sitcom The Robinsons (featuring a very young Hugh Bonnerville), and from Australia, Kath & Kim. After a trailer for BBC4's political sitcom The Thick of It – which we cannot show because it has the convicted paedo Chris Langham (even thought it has the 12th, as well) – we have a trailer for Mock the Week on Sunday, before we're are reminded by Mr. Jackson that The Robinsons starts in half an hour (but you already know that) and then into Dead Ringers.

After the credits, another plug for the audio version of the best bits from the second TV series, and that is where the recording cuts off.
