Welcome to my EX-Hard mode run of Super Robot Wars OG: Dark Prison! This game was released in tandem Super Robot Wars Infinite Battle; those who purchased the Limited Edition of Infinite Battle got a code they could redeem on the PS3 Store to download Dark Prison. It was also released as a standalone title on the Asian PS3 Store at a later date.

This game covers the story of Shu Shirakawa during the events of the first half of 2nd Super Robot Wars OG, with the last few stages covering his activities later in and shortly after that game's story. For those familiar with Super Robot Wars EX on the Super Famicom, this game is essentially the OG version of Shu's route in EX.

Now, a few years ago I went through the rigamarole of making an Asain PSN Account so that I could download and play this game, and I really enjoyed it. Fast-forward to the present day, and I notice that this game is one of the less-featured titles with complete playthroughs on Youtube. So I decided to showcase my EX-Hard mode run of this game on my channel.

But to differentiate this playthrough from a possible Special Mode run in the future, I used a secret code on the title screen to unlock the Neo Granzon for use in the entire game instead of just two stages. How much will the fearsome power of one of the strongest Banpresto Originals cut down on the difficulty of EX-Hard? Let's find out!

One last note: If there are any significant differences in the game due to the Neo Granzon replacing the Granzon, I will note it at the end of the description.
