This is my fourth playthrough of Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice on hard difficulty. The game is running with maxed out settings on PC with an RTX 4090 GPU and Ryzen 5800x3D CPU. Ray tracing is set to "High" and DLSS is in "Quality" mode. This recoding also has 5.1 surround sound track which mostly amplifies atmospheric effects. All cutscenes use only stereo audio, and to experience the binaural audio effects (voices in your head) you will want to listen with headphones. Currently, to experience 5.1 surround sound you need to watch on a TV or streaming device that supports it. The setting should be on by default and can be found under the settings wheel where you also find resolution. YouTube does not support surround sound on PC at this time.
This is also a zero (combat) death playthrough. There are a few places where I die running during "chase" scenes, but I managed to never die during combat. The visuals and audio effects in this game are amazing, and I even enjoy the simplistic combat which the game is also criticized for. It's just a fun and thought provoking experience that I highly recommend experiencing at least once, especially before Senua's Saga arrives.
