An AV sketch reel built from a single dickcissel (Spiza americana) still. Original photograph by Carl Kurtz.
The bird flips until it becomes something else. Audio is raw modular synthesis, didn't do much there but flip it on and see where the patch was at.
A reel of 12 renders throughout the day. That includes blending differences in layers, sequencing scaling with chromatic aberrations and dissolving those back into previous renders, keying static colors to be replaced with moving images, etc. Attempted to breakdown the various experiments in chapters but to be honest I don't think about this as I'm just tooling around having fun.
