Doubting Thomas - F862

Описание: FLASHING WARNING! NOT MY MUSIC! But I've internalized it FOREVER anyway. This is easily a Top Ten album over here. I'd be hard-pressed to pick only 10, but this one would be one of the first choices, easy. For those unaware, this is an old Skinny Puppy side project, instrumental, but chock-filled with interesting samples in lieu of a vocal track. Somewhere between ambient and industrial, this. Man, if you knew my history here...let's just say I'll never forget the way Dwayne smiled at both my nickname and my expressed appreciation for Doubting Thomas in particular. We lost a treasure in that man.

Not sure I'm doing the whole Special Edition here, but for sure at least the original album tracks in whatever form they are in on that Special Edition. I even bought it again to find WAV at my fingertips. My first version was a tape that Wax Trax sent me, filled with all of the tracks (120 mins worth) they were considering from Doubting Thomas. It was much more formless than the white label test press vinyl of Father Don't Cry that arrived next-- I got dozens and dozens of these from that wonderful label back in its heyday. Fun fact...we listened to Father Don't Cry on the wrong turntable speed for a month before the album showed up and corrected our understanding it sounds great at 33 too. Try it.

All visuals crafted by hand from the pixel up in kdenlive and DaVinci Resolve Studio, using Stemroller to separate the audio into more usable chunks to mix. NO AI WAS USED, I've yet to even give it permission to talk to me. o_o
