The row over the ‘smoking Kaali’ poster has blown up now with the TMC MP tweeting a poem defending her actions.
Moitra tweeted, ” Bring it on BJP! Am a Kali worshipper. I am not afraid of anything. Not your ignoramuses. Not your goons. Not your police. And most certainly not your trolls. Truth doesn’t need back up forces.”
As we said before, we still say that there are many places where worship is done with wine, that is the rule there. But what is shown in the much-discussed poster is never acceptable. The Dakshineshwar Kali Temple strongly condemned the incident. We made our position clear.
In a series of tweets, Moitra even mentioned that the goddess Bengalis worship is fearless and non-appeasing
