In a rivalry that has gone on for over a decade, a long-awaited rematch of the DV State Final Four in 2024 would take place on the biggest stage of them all... undefeated #5 Springfield Renaissance and #2 Hoosac Valley, for the MIAA DV State Championship. What more could you ask for?
What took place was nothing short of pure pandemonium... words can't even do it justice.
CONTEXT:
In what turned out to be a physical and emotional game, tempers flared quite a bit in this matchup. Renaissance ended up with a majority of their players ejected from the game, as well as a key player fouling out down the stretch.
