At the moment, we're hunting for mahi mahi, and if that doesn't work out, we just throw a tubbie in the game...

With Hans and his son Luc, finding tubbies wasn’t a problem—there are plenty of small tunas along the coast right now...

The mahi mahi apparently had more urgent matters to attend to today... 😟

So instead, we dressed up the tuna tubbies nicely and let them dance behind the boat...

Whenever I throw a tubbie in the water, I always ask whoever’s holding the line not to wrap it around a finger or hand...

And if you watch closely in the video, you'll see Luc's reaction
(yup, he glances at his finger!)—and here's why...

He had the line just resting on his finger and could easily let it go... but when they torpedo that tubbie at full speed... hallelujah...

He got a nice little burn from it...

And to make it worse... we didn’t even land that fish! 🫣

Luckily, I’ve been really specializing in those last-minute fishies lately... 😂🤣😉

You don’t have to believe me, but yep—it happened again... one more at the last bank, and then... that’s it, game over...

Nope... not for Luc... his patience paid off!!!
